Everything you need to dive

Ready for Two Divers

Every OG is a complete two-diver system—ready for family fun, lobster season, boat maintenance and underwater exploration.

  • Your selected compressor and gas engine
  • Brownie’s floating system and travel cover
  • Intake staff and dive-flag assembly
  • Standard downline and divider fittings
  • Two diver hoses and two low-pressure regulators
  • Two basic tow belts and one basic mesh gear bag
Your included equipment stays included. Additional diver kits, the Safety Bundle and individual accessories add equipment without replacing the standard items supplied with your OG.

Which OG is right for you?

Choose Your Power

All three configurations include the same complete two-diver equipment. Your choice comes down to engine preference, airflow needs and budget.

Best Starting Price

Single Head – Briggs & Stratton

Starting at $2,900

The most affordable route into the classic Brownie’s experience. A great fit for two divers, with flexibility for light, shallow-water use.

Best for: Value-focused buyers, couples, family diving and routine boat jobs.
  • Briggs & Stratton engine
  • Single-head direct-drive compressor
  • Complete two-diver system
Maximum Airflow

Dual Head – Honda

Starting at $4,000

More compressor capacity for bigger crews and higher breathing demand. This is the OG we recommend when four divers are part of the plan.

Best for: Three- and four-diver crews, heavier breathing demand and maximum flexibility.
  • Honda gas engine
  • Dual-head direct-drive compressor
  • Recommended for four divers
Your experience may vary. Air demand changes with depth, conditions, exertion and how hard each diver breathes. Four divers on a single-head system are recommended only for light breathing in extremely shallow water. If you plan to dive with four people, we highly recommend the Honda dual-head configuration for greater airflow capacity.

Preparation matters

Train, Plan and Be Ready

Breathing underwater involves inherent risk. Proper instruction, maintenance, dive planning and emergency preparation are essential.

Get Properly Trained

Divers should receive appropriate training, follow current Brownie’s instructions and stay within the limits of their training, experience and equipment.

Every diver should remain prepared to make an emergency ascent.

Consider Independent Backup Air

For dives beyond a depth at which a diver is personally comfortable making a controlled free-swimming ascent, many experienced divers carry an independent emergency breathing source.

Spare Air kits can be selected in the Safety Bundle or purchased individually.

Frequently asked questions

The OG FAQ

What does every OG include?

Every OG includes your selected compressor and engine, the floating system, intake and flag assembly, standard downline, equipment for two divers, two basic tow belts and one basic mesh gear bag.

Which OG should I choose?

Choose the Briggs & Stratton single head for the lowest starting price, the Honda single head if you prefer Honda power for a primarily two-diver setup, or the Honda dual head for greater airflow and the recommended configuration for four divers.

Can a single-head system support four divers?

Actual results vary with depth, conditions, exertion and each diver’s breathing demand. Four divers on a single-head system are recommended only for light breathing in extremely shallow water. We highly recommend the Honda dual-head configuration for four divers.

How does the Safety Bundle match my configuration?

When you select the Safety Bundle, its quantity and price match the total number of divers in your chosen configuration. A two-diver OG receives two sets, a three-diver OG receives three and a four-diver OG receives four.

What comes in a Basic Add-a-Diver Kit?

Each Basic Add-a-Diver Kit includes an additional divider connection, one 20-foot diver hose, one Brownie’s low-pressure regulator with whip and one basic tow belt.

Does the Spare Air Add-On Kit include a cummerbelt?

No. It includes the 3-cubic-foot Spare Air package and a sleeve designed to attach it to a Brownie’s drop-weight cummerbelt. Cummerbelts are temporarily unavailable and expected back in November.

How long can The OG operate?

Runtime varies with the engine, fuel supply and operating conditions. The gas-powered platform can be refueled to continue operation without waiting for a battery to recharge.

Are replacement parts and service available?

Yes. Replacement parts are available for Brownie’s systems, and Brownie’s service centers can assist with maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
