The original Brownie’s

Born in South Florida.
Still built for the water.

Brownie’s has been making surface-supplied air systems since 1969. The engines, batteries and boats have changed, but the idea has endured: keep the breathing air above so divers can move more freely below.

That history now runs through The OG, Sea LiON and BIAS—and through the parts, service and people who support Brownie’s owners long after the first dive.

Confidence starts before the dive

Learn it. Practice it.
Then take it outside.

Equipment is only one part of a good dive plan. Brownie’s also connects owners with training, practical preparation and support close to home.

Spare Air is another company in the Brownie’s Marine Group family. Its compact refillable breathing system can be worn with a Brownie’s cummerbelt as part of a properly planned emergency setup.

Backup air supplements training and planning. Every diver must remain prepared to make an emergency ascent.

Bright Weights colorful dive weight systems

Fine-tune buoyancy with Bright Weights.

Brownie’s is the United States distributor for Bright Weights. The flexible belt and coated 500g slug system makes it easy to spread weight around the hips and adjust the amount without unthreading the belt. It can also be worn with the Brownie’s basic tow belt when you are not using a drop-weight cummerbelt.

Bright yellow 3DBUOY with dive flags visible above the water

Be visible from every direction

A flat flag can disappear.
A 3D signal does not.

One thing we noticed while diving with a Brownie’s is how visible the floating system and its large elevated dive flag are to nearby boats. We wanted snorkelers and scuba divers to have that same kind of unmistakable surface presence.

A traditional two-dimensional flag can become hard to see when it turns edge-on. 3DBUOY displays dive flags in multiple directions on a bright three-dimensional shape, helping boaters recognize that people are in the water.

Met the most amazing people at Brownies this morning. I got hustled by someone on marketplace for a used third lung, and the people at Brownies, Heather and Mike, were so kind and hospitable. They took the old unit off my hands and hooked me up with a great deal. All while treating me like family walking me through the entire operation and going out of their way to give me amazing tips and pointers. This is the kind of service that all other business should model themselves by. They literally saved the day for my daughters. Can’t wait to get this thing out on the water. Thanks again Heather! scratch Tsunami for me!!

I was FLOORED by the level of Customer SERVICE at Brownie's Third Lung! Heather helped me set up getting some work done on my older equipment, and she was GREAT! Communication throughout the process was timely and accurate. She knew what needed to be done and how long it would take. Return shipping to me was FAST and on time. I would not hesitate to work with BTL next time I need Service.

Used my brownie hookah three times. Warranty expires after 1 year. The third time I tried to use it is when it stopped working. Called brownie and spoke with them about the issue. The answer was for me to ship it to them and they will determine whether it’s a part defect or not. The shipping cost to ship it is $200.00 each way. At this point I will be buying a better brand hookah and learned my lesson the hard way. If you’re looking for a good hookah the check out Keene engineering. Been using my friends for about a year with no issues.

This place really has it going on!!!! I am one of those slackers that just took my unit in this week to get ready for mini season. I am terrible at caring for my unit and that thing needed a lot of work but they made it happen for me. The mechanics mike and Jerry were very knowledgeable about the configuration of these systems making it easy for them to get me back out on the water. I also would love to give a big shout out to heather and Stacy in the office these girls know everything about these systems from how to care for them and even the mechanics of the system heather even gave me tons of pointers on how to care for my system and how to keep it in the best condition. Lastly they have a great shipping dept and Claude was able to get my unit shipped out to me in the keys in no time at all. I love this product and especially this company for always treating me so fair they really do value their business and their customers…. Thank you Brownies!!!!!!
